FAQs

Thinking about studying from home but have a few questions you’d like to ask first? Look no further!

Q: ARE A-LEVELS IMPORTANT?

A: A-levels can be a stepping stone to promising academic and business careers and remain absolutely crucial, especially in terms of entry to university. They are hard, but are worth it. They show employers that you can work hard towards a set goal, and overcome problems along the way.

A-Levels are very important for your life after college and university. They’re partly what employers look at when deciding who to employ.  A-levels open new opportunities to you and are internationally recognised qualifications which means you have a whole world of learning available to you

Advanced level qualifications (known as A levels) are subject-based qualifications that can lead to university, further study, training, or work. You can normally study three or more A levels over two years. They’re usually assessed by a series of examinations.   https://www.ucas.com/further-education/

Q: WHAT IF I DON’T GET THE RESULTS I NEED?

A: Firstly, don’t panic.  Secondly, you are not alone.

There are lots of options available and we can provide you with one of the best ones.

Q: WHY SHOULD I RE-TAKE MY A-LEVELS?

A: Many students re-take A-levels because they didn’t get the required Grade/grades for their preferred University choice.  It happens, this year probably to more than usual.

So, if you have your hear set on a particular course at a particular university re-takes may be the best option for you, and you can fast-track, meaning you will only have to study over one year as opposed to the usual 2. In this time you may want to think about getting some work experience for the career you are thinking of.  This will help re-affirm your decision, you will gain valuable work and life experience and perhaps be able to save some money for University next year.  There is no need to compromise.

Q:CAN I RE-SIT MY A-LEVELS?

A: Yes you can, there are no age limits and no barriers, we just ask that you are motivated and willing!

Q: WHEN WILL I BE ABLE TO RE-SIT MY A-LEVELS?

A: You can only take A levels in the summer, with the exams being in May/June each year.  This year is will be different as those who are not happy with their predicted grades will be able to sit their exams in October.

Our deadline for exam bookings is January each year as we offer guaranteed places to our students through our partner centres throughout the UK.
